Who we are
Started in late 1999, OM Packaging was born out of sheer commitment, dedication and hard work by our founder, Mr. Birendra Kumar Singh, who went on to build a respected name in the industry while helping the company reach new heights. We started with an intent to innovate and a will to set new standards – and those core principles are still followed by us to this day.
Choosing sustainability
Serving many industries from the start, we used to deal in HDPE and GI drums as well. As we became more environmentally conscious, we took a major step towards sustainability – reducing our carbon footprint and pollution by shutting down products that were not environmentally friendly. For us, society comes before everything.
Keeping these principles in mind, we focused on paper and fibre-based packaging. Specialising in customisation and quality assurance, we continue to grow with our customers.
Founder’s message
“Born in a small village in Bihar, I always dreamt of improving, being better and achieving things that no one could. Who knew that this hunger would lead me into founding and leading a company which replicates my hunger for improvement and success for generations to come.” – Mr. Birendra Kumar Singh, Founder

Fibre drum manufacturer – OM Packaging
Founded in late 1999 by Mr. Birendra Kumar Singh, OM Packaging has grown into a trusted fibre drum manufacturer known for quality, customisation and reliability. Our journey as a fibre drum manufacturer began with a simple intent: to innovate and set new standards in industrial packaging.
What makes our industrial drums different
Buyers choose our industrial drums because we combine more than 25 years of manufacturing experience with honest technical advice. We recommend the lightest construction that protects your product, supply samples before bulk production and keep specifications on record, so every batch of industrial drums matches the last one you approved. Not every fibre drum manufacturer offers this level of customisation.
How industrial drums are made
Our industrial drums begin as multiple plies of high-strength kraft paper, spirally wound with adhesive to form a rigid wall. The tube is cut to height, fitted with a secure base and finished with a rim and lid matched to your closure requirement. Wall thickness is chosen for the fill weight and stacking height your industrial drums must withstand. This is how an experienced fibre drum manufacturer reduces risk for your business.
Industries that rely on industrial drums
Pharmaceutical, chemical, food, agrochemical and textile businesses depend on industrial drums to move products safely between plants, warehouses and customers. Because fibre drums are lighter than steel, they also help reduce freight cost on every shipment. Speak to OM Packaging, a dependable fibre drum manufacturer, about your next requirement.
Customisation options
Every order of industrial drums can be tailored: diameter, height and capacity, wall strength, metal lever-lock or clamp-ring closures, fibre or plastic lids, LDPE or HDPE liner bags, moisture barriers and printed branding with handling marks. Tell us how your industrial drums will be filled, stored and shipped and we will recommend the right combination. Businesses looking for a reliable fibre drum manufacturer value exactly this kind of consistency.
Quality checks at every stage
Quality is built into each stage of production. Kraft paper is inspected on arrival, wall thickness and diameter are measured during winding, and finished industrial drums are checked for base strength, rim finish and lid fit before dispatch. Records of each approved specification mean the drums in your next order behave exactly like the drums in your last one. It is one reason buyers searching for a fibre drum manufacturer shortlist OM Packaging.
Quality and sustainability
Fibre packaging is paper-based, recyclable and lighter to transport than metal or plastic alternatives. OM Packaging discontinued HDPE and GI drums years ago to focus on responsible fibre products, and our industrial drums help customers reduce plastic use while keeping products fully protected throughout the supply chain. Choosing a fibre drum manufacturer with in-house engineering support makes these decisions easier.
Storage and handling tips
To get the best performance from industrial drums, store them indoors on pallets, away from standing water and direct rain. Stack filled drums only to the recommended height, keep lids secured during transit, and use liners for hygroscopic products. Empty drums nest or stack neatly, which saves warehouse space between deliveries. Working with a fibre drum manufacturer who understands your industry saves time on every order.
From enquiry to delivery
Send us your requirement and our team will suggest the right industrial drums, share a quotation and arrange samples for approval. Once approved, production follows the agreed specification and the order is dispatched from our Sonipat facility with clear communication on timelines. That depth of experience matters when you compare fibre drum manufacturer.
